Despite the relative difficulty and cost that moving entails, many people still choose to pack up their things and settle in a new place. There are several reasons why people do this, and here are a few of them:
1. The grass is greener where they're going.
Better opportunities in a new place are a very legitimate reason to move, and many people do not mind having to go through the whole effort and expense of moving as long as the grass is greener where they're going. Especially these days, good opportunities for career / business advancement are rare, which is why it's really worth a move.
2. Weather and health.
Locales have their own weather, and sometimes people develop / have conditions that do not work well with the kind of weather where they are. This is why some opt to find a better place to live in with better weather so that their health condition does not suffer as much.
3. The standard of living is lower where they're moving.
The standards of living are not the same everywhere, with some places being more expensive to live in than others. Some people choose to move to a place where they can spend less and their money and budget stretches longer. Sometimes living in a place where the cost of living is high is just not worth it for some people.
