Flat Removal Checklist Relocating into a new apartment is both an exciting and stressful experience. Exciting because you can meet new friends and adapt to a new environment. Stressful, on the other hand, because of your belongings that you have to organise. So let's make it easier for you to deal with the stressful things by having a checklist. Here are the things that you have to check.   The Inside   * Check the showers and faucets in the kitchen and in the bathrooms if they are working. See to it that there is enough water pressure and that water heater is functional.   * Check the toilet flush if it is functional. There is nothing more awful than a toilet that does not flush. Check also if there are leaks.   * Ensure all the lights in the apartment if they are working. If they do not, have the landlord replace the bulbs.   The Outside   * Figure out the reputation of the landlord with other tenants. Determine if the landlord always take care of issues about the flat, if he responds to complaints in a timely manner.   * Check how safe is the area. Find out what the crime rate is like in the community. Check if guards patrolled at night.   * If you are entering into college, check the schools in the area. A quick research on the Internet will tell you if the schools in the area offer courses or programs that suit your interest.   Just follow the above tips and you can surely have a hassle-free move into your new flat.
