How to Organize Your Move and Minimize Loss of Income
If you have a home office, moving houses also means moving offices. Of course, it's much simpler if you only have your computer in your home office. A few files would not be much either. You could even set it back up the moment you arrive your new home. Your downtime would only be the hours of your travel.

On the other hand, if you have stocks of raw materials and inventory you would have to organize the packing well so inventory will not only avoid damage but they would also be easy to unpack and reorganize in your new place. This would minimize your business downtime.

On the other hand, you have your customers to think of too. You would not want to lose your customers because of the downtime. If you advise them about the impending downtime, they would be able to make their orders way in advance. Of course, be prepared to serve more orders too before the move.

Now if you are employed by a medical billing company or a virtual call center you would have to inform your company about the move so you can get some time off and others can cover for you as well.

So if you want to minimize loss of income, you should plan and organize the move so you will be able to avoid as much downtime. At the same, you even avoid getting too much stressed as well.
