After the thorough search, you have finally selected the apartment where to dwell. This is another process that needs a lot of preparations. This is both an exciting and daunting experience.
Do not hurry up and plan your move well. Inform the lessee the date when you are prepared to move in and make sure that the apartment is ready. Ask the designated personnel to get the utilities ready and the lease transferred to your name. Do not wait for the last minute before transferring the services to your name. Prepare the items that you will bring with you and hire a moving company if necessary. Also, change your mailing address with the post office and other entities that you do business with.
On the moving day, prepare the payments stipulated in the contract. And upon receiving the keys, perform a walk through in the place and specifically note the condition of the apartment so that you will not be deemed responsible for the existing damages.
After settling to your new apartment, you can start furnishing the place. Just don't rush in filling the house with furniture all at once. It takes time to organize the apartment and your belongings on it.
