Moving doesn't only exhaust and stress people, even pets. Pets like your cat are very sensitive and fragile when it's time to move. They don't know the real
score about moving and they seem to be helpless all the time. As their family, you have to show great care for them by giving them a comfortable environment in your new home. However, when it comes
to the moving part itself, your cat should be handled with so much care. You can not simply transport your cat without getting them prepared. Your cat knows that they are safe in your arms but you have to give them a better place when you travel. Providing your cat with facilities it needs will help them feel secured and comfortable. Get a litter box for your cat where it can curl up and sleep like nobody will hurt him. A comfortable bed can be placed inside the box where your cat can lie down and sleep happily while you are on the road trip. Most importantly, don't forget about the food and water. Your cat should be well-fed during the trip and water should be always available. You can even bring toys for your cats. But, if the road trip will not work, try sending your cat to a travel carrier instead.
