Moving is a big event and a big effort for anyone, and it always pays to be as efficient as possible so that you can finish moving tasks easily and with less hassle.
Part of making your move efficient is through the proper packing of your items. Packing is one of the most important and the biggest tasks in moving, so doing it the right way will make things easier for you.
Pack your things on a per-room basis. When packing, don't mix things from one room with another, because it will only make for a very confusing and uncomplicated packing process when you get to your new home. Having all the bedroom items together, for example, will allow you to know which goes where easier. Pack breakables well. Breakable items are pretty vulnerable during the transit / transport process, which is why you need to take extra care when packing them. Make sure to put in a lot of padding and support, which can be bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or even crumpled papers and Styrofoam.Another packing tip is to make sure that you have all the right sized boxes to use. While there is a standard common size, other items might be better off when packed in smaller or bigger boxes.
