Just because you're moving out of a place doesn't mean that you can just leave it the way you want to, even if that might mean leaving the place looking like a pigsty. If you leave your apartment a mess for example, you might be charged with extra fees and your old advanced deposit might not be returned. So unless you don't mind paying up, here are few tips you can follow when you move out of your old home:
1. Inspect everything.
This basic tip will enable you to inspect for any damage or any other undesirable thing that you can remedy before you leave. Look at pipes, walls, and other nooks and crannies that might be housing something disturbing you don't want your landlord to find out about.
2. Clean after you've packed.
It's better that you pack first before you start cleaning so that the majority of your things are already stowed away and won;t be exposed to the dirt and dust you'll be scrubbing away.
3. Start cleaning and repairing early.
Start cleaning and repairing early, especially with the big jobs. These can take time to accomplish which might prove to be too much of a hassle if you leave it for last.
