People concentrate on personal items when moving. That is why the kitchenware is usually taken for granted. This is something you should not forget though as you would need to prepare food right from your first day there. For one, you should not forget your plates, spoons and forks. Knives are also very essential. So are the cups, glasses and mugs.
For cooking, you would need a saucepan in 1 and 2 quart sizes. Frying and sauté pans are also very important. A casserole and a roasting pan would also be handy. Of course, your kitchen would not be complete without your oven. Otherwise, you would not be able to cook or even heat your food.
When cooking, you also need certain tools like cutting boards and peelers. Measuring cups and measuring spoons are also essential. If you don't have them you would not be able to know the exact measure of the ingredients so your food would not taste good. Mixing bowls, spatulas and can openers are also important in the kitchen. Big spoons, salad tongs and oven mitts will also make your job easier there too. You would also need a tea kettle and an ice cream scoop. And since you would need to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, you would need household supplies like all purpose cleaners and detergents, sponges, garbage bags, paper towels, aluminum foils and Ziploc bags. With a well-equipped kitchen, at least you know will not go hungry.
