You know very well that children get very much affected when you move to a new place. So, it is important that you let them know about the moving process earlier so that they can prepare themselves and gradually learn to deal with this huge change in their lives.
As long as you inform your children about your decision to move house, the less trouble you will encounter. Children have also the right to know what is going on in your family because they are part of it. Constant communication by involving them with discussions regarding your desire to move house will help them get prepared on the day of the move. This will also let them adjust easily with their new environment because it is as if you have already conditioned them to deal with the matter long before it happens.
When you get your children involved, you ask their opinion before you make decisions. Once they feel that their thoughts and ideas matter to you, as their parents, they will feel mature and they will have positive views toward other family issues. In the end, you will be surprised how huge their contribution will be as you move house.
